DancAir

Welcome to DancAir!

Safety is the very first word on this very first page. It is not by coincidence. DancAir is primarily safety concerned. Therefore, please read the details on DancAir's phylosophy by clicking that very first word. We require that each and every customer be a partner in all aspects of safety.

Please pronounce DancAir as "dancer", since we are in the business of dancing in the air.
Not literally, of course, but we do exercise the same level of control of our (extended) body (the aircraft), in the three dimensional space as dancers do. In fact, DancAir was named so by a Certified Ballroom and Latin American Instructor and American Smooth Certified Judge, Christine Moszynski. Because of the close relation to safe, controlled and precise movement in space between flying and dancing, dancers will have a 10% discount of every fee at DancAir. Please see the details on the Cost page.

Our business: Teaching absolute beginners to fly. Just like driving, flying has many categories. You may drive buses, trucks, street cars, subways, trains, motor cycles, etc. In aviation, you may fly balloons, kites, gliders, 747 passenger jets, etc. To find out if what all of these possibilities we offer is, in fact, what you are looking for, please see our Introduction page. And if, in fact it is, then see the details on the Curriculum page.

Of all possible certifications, DancAir offers what's known as "Pilot Permit - Ultralight Aircraft". You can find more detail about this certification on the Licenses page and the Aircraft page tells you more about the plane used.

Your options to use your license are two-fold: You either rent planes, or you own one (alone or in a group). The details of these arrangements can be found on the Rental vs. Ownership page.

And finally, if you would like to learn more, please use the information on the Contact Us page to reach us. If you are ready for the challenge, sign up for our next ground school!!!

Welcome again, and enjoy your visit!
